OUR HIRING PROCESS

At our company, we take great care in finding the right contractors to work with us for the long term. Our extensive screening process involves five steps that are designed to ensure that we hire only the best candidates. This may include reviewing resumes, conducting phone or in-person interviews, checking references, and performing background checks to ensure we're hiring the best candidates who fit our company culture and are committed to growing with us. By taking these steps below, we can ensure that we are hiring the best candidates who are the best fit for our company.   1. Initial Qualification - Our team will be notified of any applications that are accepted by our system. Please note: There is an automatic rejection if all instructions are not followed.

  2. Prescreen Interview - 15-minute Call on Zoom

  3. Verification - Based on the role you applied for, we may need to verify your identity, education, certifications, or any other required information before proceeding to the next step.

  4. Paid Test - Our tests are REAL work for which you will get paid. If you have questions about our test process, please contact us directly at jobs@koloraddikt.com

  5. Final Interview - During the final interview, we will review test outcomes, and growth opportunities while asking qualifying questions about specific skills, goals, and culture/mindset. The final decision will be made within 0 - 3 business days after final Interview.

  • Guaranteed Work - Each week, based on your performance and work ethic, you’re eligible for up to 4 projects.

  • You choose your work - As we have projects, you’re open to bid along with other creatives to get the work.

  • Work on your own time - All we ask is that you meet our deadlines, when you work is entirely up to you. Some roles do require a minimum of 4 hours availability within our core work hours 10am - 7pm EST.

  • No need to sales or apply for as many gigs - We will send you projects guaranteed!

  • No Micromanaging - We prefer to not have to chase you or constantly bother you. Show up when needed, update your work and you won’t hear from us.

  • We Value your Thoughts and Feedback. We value and respect our team members always.

  • Full Creative Autonomy - We will provide you as much detail as possible for you to get started but use creativity. We will not hover over you.

  • Limited Revision Cycles - No need to worry about going back and forth with clients.

WORKING @ KOLOR ADDIKT

  • As a contractor, you have full control over your work schedule and you do not have specific work hours. All deadlines must be met.

  • You must be a self-starter and be able to figure things out by yourself, this is a fast-paced environment and we are constantly on the move, so no hand-holding.

  • You are empowered to make decisions, especially creative ones, as long as you can back them up. You have full autonomy.

  • We’re looking for experienced freelancers.

  • Every Monday, you’ll be asked to attend a team meeting. During this team meeting you will be assigned projects to complete for the upcoming week. You can expect anywhere from one to four tasks/projects depending on the role and complexity. If you do not attend the team meeting, you will be responsible for obtaining your work for the week.

  • We also have a daily 15-minute Slack huddle (no video, join from the phone) where our Creative Director is available for you to ask questions and get clarity on your work. Attendance is mandatory if you have tasks assigned to you for the week.

  • We use Trello to collaborate and document your work. Trello Boards must be kept up to date at all times, with no exceptions.

  • We communicate via Slack. All communication is done in the creative team slack channel unless otherwise noted.

  • We track hours via Clockify.  We use this information for productivity and capacity planning so please be accurate. Hours DO NOT affect your pay.

  • All united states contractors must submit an updated and valid W9 form. International contractors may be required to submit valid identification.

  • If at any time you are unclear about your rate/payment terms, you must get clarity before the work is accepted and/or completed.

  • We have a camera on policy. All cameras must be on when on Zoom calls. Please be prepared to do so. This is a place of connection and genuine engagement. Adequate sound, lighting, and visibility are a must.

  • NO UNAPPROVED OVERAGES WILL BE PAID FOR UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES. It is your job as a contractor to effectively manage and track your time.

  • If you have made it thus far, good for you. All contractors must be willing to sign a work agreement with the terms above listed. Do not APPLY if this is not something you are okay with doing.
